What GG-AU is
Goated Geese (GG-AU) is an informal, unincorporated group of Aussie and Kiwi gamers running a Discord server, game servers and community events. We're not a company, we don't charge for membership, and there's no registered entity behind any of this.
You'll also see us called HONK. That's our clan tag, worn as [HONK] in game lobbies and on Discord since 2026, and new geese earn it after their first scrim. It's the same community these terms cover, not a separate group or a registered entity.
Using our Discord server, this website or any of our game servers means you're agreeing to the terms below.
Acceptable use
We expect everyone to play fair and treat each other decently, on Discord, on our servers and anywhere else the clan hangs out. The full conduct rules live on our Guidelines page.
Breaking those rules can get you muted, kicked from a server, or removed from the Discord and the clan altogether, at staff discretion.
Account and membership
You need to sign in with Discord to create an account. If you're not already in the GG-AU Discord server, signing in adds you to it as a regular member, unless Discord won't allow it (for example, if you've been banned from the server).
Full clan membership goes through our application process: you apply, a staff member reviews it, and if approved you go through a probation period before you're fully inducted. None of that is automatic.
One account per person is the rule. Evading a ban, mute or timeout gets every account linked to you permanently banned.
No warranty, no liability
This is a volunteer hobby community, not a paid service. We provide the website, Discord and game servers as-is, with no guarantee they'll be available, bug-free or backed up.
We're not liable for lost items, lost progress, downtime, or anything else that happens while you're using our servers or Discord. Play at your own risk, same as any other community server.
Termination
You can delete your own account at any time from the account page, no need to ask anyone.
Staff can remove you from the Discord, the clan or any server under the Guidelines if you break the rules. This isn't a formal process, it's a volunteer community making a judgment call.
The worst offences, listed on the Guidelines page, mean immediate removal with no warning first.
Governing law
These terms are written with Australian law in mind, since that's where the clan is based. That's a general statement, not legal advice, and it doesn't create a formal legal relationship or guarantee.
Changes to these terms
We might update these terms as the site and the clan grow. If we make a meaningful change, we'll post about it in Discord. Continuing to use the site or Discord after a change means you're okay with the update.
Contact
There's no company office or registered address, this is a Discord-first community. If you have a question about these terms, the fastest way to reach us is in our Discord server.
